XPDUSD

XPDUSD(Palladium/US dollar)

XPDUSD is a pair of palladium (XPD) and the US dollar (USD) and shows the value of 1 troy ounce of palladium in the US dollar. XPD is the currency code for palladium used in precious metals trading. Its scarcity is increasing due to the limited supply. Since the demand for palladium is quite high, especially in developed countries for use in catalytic converters and electric components, its price is often affected by the economic outlooks of Japan, the US, and Europe. It's also sensitive to activities in Russia and South Africa, which produces about 80% of the world's supply of palladium. In recent years, palladium prices are on the rise due to the decreasing supply, attracting the attention of traders worldwide. As the currency of the world's largest economy, the United States, the US dollar is the most circulated currency in the world. This safe-haven currency is more likely to be sold in a risk-on environment (i.e., more investment in riskier assets) and to be bought in a risk-off environment (i.e., more investment in safer assets). US dollar currency pairs tend to be more actively traded than others.
