HSCEI, or Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, is comprised of H-shares, P-chips, and Red-chips listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. H-shares refer to the shares of companies in mainland China; P-chips are the shares of companies outside mainland; and Red-chips are the shares of companies outside mainland backed by the Chinese government or such.
